A Masterful Tribute To The Writers Of The Four Canonical Gospels

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John: early Christian art has long depicted these four writers of the canonical Gospels as the four "living creatures" that surround God's throne.  A centuries old tradition, Matthew has been depicted as Human, Mark as Lion, Luke as Ox, and John as Eagle.  The Evangelium™ represents these Evangelists in hand-cast, bronze toned wax ornaments trimmed with 24 carat gold leaf that are inlaid beneath the surface of the 51% Beeswax Paschal candle.

Due to the workmanship required to benchcraft each candle, please allow four weeks for the creation and shipment of your Eximious® Paschal candle.

Paschal Candles available in diameters starting at 1 15/16", all the way up to 4", with lengths ranging from 32" to 62". Available lengths may vary based on diameter selected.

Each Paschal candle comes complete with 5 corresponding nails and the current year represented on your candle.  Contact us for replacement nails and numbers if you are needing to update your previous year's candle.
