DO YOU HAVE A STORE WHERE I CAN SHOP IN PERSON?

Southern Liturgicals does have a store in Lafayette, Louisiana where you can shop in person.  Located just down the road from the University of Louisiana- Lafayette in Lafayette's historic Oil Center district. Weekday hours are 10AM-6PM M-F.  Often we are open on Saturdays, especially during busy times of the year.  Check Google or call the shop to confirm current weekend hours at 337-456-5892. We are available by appointment outside of those hours and days and can typically accommodate same day and late notice requests.  Just ring the doorbell upon arrival and we'll be happy to greet you!

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO SHOP?

Appointments are not required, but are recommended if you are traveling any distance, traveling in a large group, or want to spend a lengthy period of time here at Southern Liturgicals. This is not at all unusual for seminarians making a trip to pick out their ordination chalice.  As mentioned in the "About Us" section, Dr. Duplantis and is a medical professional who operates his medical clinic and Southern Liturgicals simultaneously.  His staff are also active in both businesses located within the same business suite.  Visitors will be escorted within Southern Liturgicals, in the area outside of the giftshop, to ensure hands on customer service and a personalized experience.

I HEARD THAT ONLY PRIESTS AND DEACONS CAN SHOP THERE, IS THAT TRUE?

We are happy to announce the expansion of Southern Liturgicals to include a Catholic giftshop which is open to all, with no appointment needed during the week.  The giftshop section includes Catholic gift and devotional items including beautiful indoor and outdoor statuary, spiritual and prayer books, Catholic bibles and study guides, incense, home and auto devotional items, rosaries, crucifixes, catholic flags, mugs, and a well stocked devotional and prayer candle area.  There is a separate area of the store that is designed for priests, deacons, bishops, cardinals, sacristans, and seminarians.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP A CHALICE?

We do stock a variety of chalices in our shop, and the selection varies as different chalices are sold.  We like to rotate in new chalices, while keeping a selection of our most popular chalices for quick shipment.  Custom engraving is often possible, but will add approximately 2 weeks to your shipment time of an in stock chalice.

Delivery of special order chalices varies from 4 to 12 weeks depending on artisan availability and workload.  We work with skilled artisans from around the world.  Material availability and transit time to the US may vary.  US Customs and FDA inspections may delay shipments at times, which we have no control over.  It is always best to order early for special events such as an ordination chalice. All shipments are sent from the artisans directly to Southern Liturgicals in Louisiana for inspection prior to being sent to its final destination in the US.

If you require a chalice for a specific date or event, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us prior to placing your order. 

PAYMENT DETAILS

All purchases must be paid at the time your order is placed. You may pay via MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, check, bank wire transfer or in person cash payment.

All payments must clear our bank before production begins on special order items.  

Seminarians- Please reach out to us for special down payment options to place your dream chalice on hold or begin production.

For any arrangements where a down payment is accepted by Southern Liturgicals to begin production, payment must be received in full prior to shipment of the item to you or your church.  Photos of the final piece can be provided prior to shipment from Southern Liturgicals if requested.

RETURN POLICY

At Southern Liturgicals, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  Please contact us via phone or email as soon as possible with any concerns you may have regarding  your order at 337-456-5892. You may email us directly at Richard@southernliturgicals.com 

Special order, custom and personalized engraved items are not returnable.

If you received a damaged item or package, please contact us within 1-2 business days.  Keep all packaging and send photos of the damaged items to Richard@SouthernLiturgicals.com

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.

Please note that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, and the customer may be deemed responsible for the cost of return shipping.

All clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Vestments and clergy wear may only be returned in the original packaging with all tags in place.  Stained or obviously worn items will not be accepted for return.  A restocking fee may apply and will be treated on a case by case basis.

U.S. SHIPPING

Orders of in stock items will be processed and shipped within 1-5 business days, depending on product availability. Shipping times may vary based on your location. We will provide a tracking number for your package once it has been shipped. 

Standard shipping typically takes 2-7 business days. 

We ship US postal service or UPS.  For chalices, metalware and high value purchases, a signature will be required for UPS to deliver your package.  Please keep this in mind when providing your requested delivery address.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 

Southern Liturgicals primarily ships within the U.S. only.  Shipments to other countries may be available depending on your request.  Contact us for details.

TAX GUIDELINES

Depending on the laws of your state of residency, you may be required to pay sales, use, and consumption tax. Please consult your state tax guidelines for more information.

Louisiana purchases will be charged appropriate state and local taxes.
